Jeffrey Saxon

Based in Carlsbad, California, Jeffrey Saxon is a partner at MDF Law and is licensed in both New York and California. A PIABA member (Public Investors Advocate Bar Association), Jeff has spent his career representing investors and consumers against broker-dealers, financial institutions, and fraudulent operators.

Before joining MDF Law in October 2021, Jeff served for eight years as Assistant General Counsel at the New York City Department of Correction, where he supervised a complex docket of state and federal claims — including class actions — against the City of New York. That trial experience informs his approach to every investor case he handles.

Jeff's recent representations include investors in the GWG Holdings fraud ($1 billion+ in investor losses), victims of a $100M+ Atlanta Ponzi scheme before FINRA, and a seven-figure recovery against a major brokerage in North Carolina. He has also represented military families in life insurance diversion cases and negotiated millions in settlements with crypto exchanges through AAA arbitration.

Jeff is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law (2007), where he served as Associate Editor of the Journal of International Business and Law, and Binghamton University (B.A. 2004, Philosophy of Law and History, Phi Alpha Theta honors society).

When he is not practicing law, Jeff surfs in his hometown of Carlsbad, California and skis in Colorado.
